Homemade Protein Bars

These homemade protein bars are made with clean ingredients. They are gluten-free, dairy-free, and there are no added sugars! They are healthier than most store-bought protein bars and they are more affordable too!

Ingredients

· 2 scoops of protein powder

· 2 TBS ground flax seeds

· 2 TBS coconut flour

· ¼ cup oat flour

· 2 TBS coconut oil

· 4-6 dates

· 2-3 TBS almond milk

· ¼ cup almond flour

Instructions:

1. Add all of the ingredients into a food processor, except for the almond milk. Blend the mix up until the coconut oil and dates are incorporated with the dry ingredients.

2. Once evenly mixed, slowly add in the almond milk until a sticky ball forms. You want the mix to be sticky and thick!

3. Place the mixture between two pieces of parchment paper and roll out until about an ½ inch thick. Cut the bars into squares or rectangles, and keep wrapped up in the parchment paper for storage.

4. I usually get about 8 bars out of this mix. At 8 bars these protein bars are 110 calories, 5 grams of fat, 10 grams of carbs and 7 grams of protein. Store the bars in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
