Halloween Brownies

These Halloween brownies are gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free! They are the perfect treat for the entire family.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of almond flour

  • 1/3 cup of coconut flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder (unsweetened)

  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar

  • 1/3 cup oil (coconut oil, avocado oil or olive oil)

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (enjoy-life dairy-free)

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/3 cup of unsweetened nut milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. In a small bowl combine the dry ingredients: almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, sea salt, and sugar.

  3. In a separate bowl combine the wet ingredients: milk, eggs, oil, and vanilla.

  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until it is all incorporated. Then fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. In an 8x8 baking dish coat, it with cooking spray or coconut oil to ensure the brownies will not stick. Pour the batter in and spread out evenly.

  6. Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out of the center of the brownies clean.

  7. To decorate you can use 1/2 cup of organic powder sugar, 1-2 tbs nut milk, and orange food coloring to make a spider web design or frosting drizzle!
